Dr. Dana Ericksen spent his high school years in Blacksburg, Virginia, rooting for the Hokies while his father taught at Virginia Tech. In 1978 he 

received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Virginia, where he expanded his enthusiasm for college sports to include the Cavaliers. Upon receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1982, he returned to UVA in Charlottesville to complete a two-year general practice residency including oral surgery, oral pathology, facial trauma, IV sedation and dental care for the medically compromised.

Upon relocating to Northern Virginia in 1984, Dr. Ericksen was the dental director at the Northern Virginia Training Center where he provided dental care to those with intellectual disabilities. In 1986 he started his private practice in Fairfax.

Dr. Ericksen continues to update his expertise through professional continuing education. He integrates the latest technology with his gentle touch to achieve superb cosmetic and functional results. He sets his patients at ease, regardless of age. He is known for presenting solutions for his complex dental problems best tailored to the needs of the individual.

The staff at Dr. Ericksen’s practice are exceptional in their friendliness, expertise and efficiency. The entire practice prides itself in keeping “on time” to keep you on time. However, ample opportunity is always made to get to know each other.

Dr. Ericksen lives in Vienna with his wife Betsi and their two daughters. He is a long distance runner, lover of travel, reader of history and an avid golfer.
